Today was my husband's birthday. I really wanted to let him sleep in and I would deal with getting my son ready for school. Well, that did not happen. I was up way to late last night so he got up and did the whole get to school thing. I guess sleeping til 8 instead of 4:30 is sleeping in a bit. These are the days that this "illness" really get to me. I have such a strange sleep schedule, it does not help I worked night shift for almost 18 years either 4 pm to midnight or 6 pm to 6 am and even though I have not been working for more than almost a year, I still can not get off the night shift schedule. I am ready to go back to work, 12 hour shifts may not be good, but I am bored at home and I so miss my job. I hope at some point to find a similar job in my new area here.
Well I started by talking about my husbands birthday and as usual went in a whole different direction. I pushed myself to do what he wanted. Took a walk on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Md. Was nice, not hot and a decent breeze. It is definitely getting busier. Then we went to dinner. Dinner was ok. Of course going out to eat is hard for me, never know what will be ok, or not. In all we had a lot of fun. Spent some great family time and just relaxed a bit. I am sore, very tired and ready for sleep. Hoping it comes quickly and is restful.o That brings me to a question. What is your favorite way to celebrate? Do you drink alcohol during your celebration at all? I can tell you my favorite is just spending time, and I do not drink because it makes me feell worse, but I would love to know how it affects others. Let me know. I am going to go to sleep now.
